Garbage is picked up on Fridays. If a holiday falls on a Friday, garbage collection will be picked up on Saturday.
Garbage must be placed in containers on the street side of the house - garbage will NOT be picked up in the alley.
There is a two (2) can limit that will be picked up at a house.
The Town of Mission Hill holds a city wide clean up once per year, normally in May. This is only for RESIDENTS of Mission HILL. At this time the garbage collector will provide roll off containers to be placed on Washington Ave. (main street) in front of City Hall. Residents are welcome to bring unwanted items to discard in these roll offs. TIRES ARE NOT ACCEPTED! White goods and branches are accepted however, will not be placed in the roll offs.
